Iasi Airport

Located in the NE of Romania, at the present eastern EU border, Iasi Airport is one of the most ancient accredited airports in Romania. It was established in 1932, having legal personality from 1992. It is a public institution of special regional interest, open to international travel and freight traffic, in accordance with Romanian Government Decision no. 305/20.03.2003. It is based on economic management and financial autonomy, it benefits from transfers from Iasi regional budget, according to art. 3 of Romanian Government Decision no. 398/1997, it is organized and it operates under the law. Its Mission is to directly contribute to the economic development of IASI and the North-Eastern Region of Romania through continuous diversifying and improvement of the specific services offered, to the benefit of all its customers at home and abroad.
