Inspired by Shay (IBS) is a Canadian consultancy founded by Shamima Nyamekye specifically for the purpose of providing peer mentoring and academic support to all students worldwide. It is an initiative birthed from a desire to change the nature of academic mentoring. We recognize that students want to talk to their fellow students who can relate to their struggles. Anyone can be successful in the pursuit of higher education, but some need a push. This push is what IBS exists to facilitate. Vision: To become one of the largest providers of career-education services in Sub-Saharan Africa; Making academic success available to everyone.
