IEEE Student Branch of UCSC

IEEE is the worlds largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. The IEEE Student Branch of UCSC was established in 2011 under the guidance of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. Since its establishment, it has been providing a platform for professional development for all undergraduates of UCSC. Not only technical knowledge but also personality development skills such as leadership, dedication, commitment, and organization could be developed and nurtured by engaging in the events organized by the Student Branch. Striving for excellence, the IEEE Student Branch of UCSC has won several awards at IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards Night, with the most recent being the Best Student Branch Activity award for GameRush 2019
