IEEE Student Branch UC

IEEE UC Student Branch is an autonomous association of the University of Coimbra part of the global IEEE organization. After being discontinued in 2017, the Student Branch (SB) of the University of Coimbra was reactivated in September 2019 and has grown exponentially since then, both in number of members and in the opening of chapters and affinity groups. Over the last two years, numerous activities have been developed, both in technical and social areas, as well as in the field of soft skills. The SB focuses on developing innovative initiatives and events in areas that are lacking in academic education, ranging from training in technical skills (hard and soft skills) to providing better internship opportunities. In addition, it seeks to insert its members into the corporate world, with collaborations with large companies (from various sectors) in Portugal. https://linktr.ee/IEEE_SB_UC
