IEEE is the worlds largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEEs highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE, pronounced Eye-triple-E, stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. IEEE Zagazig University Student Branch (ZSB) is a member in the IEEE Egypt Section , in the IEEE Region 8 which includes student branches from Europe, Middle-East and Africa and it was the first IEEE student branch to be established in Egypt. It is located at the Faculty of Engineering and serves four departments within the faculty, Electronics and Communications, Electric Power, Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
