IFMA Silicon Valley

Founded in 1980, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the informational and educational needs of facility management executives and their staffs. With more than 23,000 members and 130 chapters, 17 councils in 85 countries worldwide, IFMA promotes efficient, sustainable, effective, safe and humane workplaces. Facility management is the practice of coordinating the physical workplace with the people and practice of the organization; it integrates principles of business administration, architecture, and both behavioral and engineering sciences. We aim to facilitate networking, sharing, and education both locally and throughout the international network of IFMA Chapters- because in todays dynamic world, a community can range in size from two members to several thousand strong!
