Ihsaan

Ihsaan is a specialised service which provides psychological therapies and training, based on Islamic principles. Rationale: To develop an Islamic understanding of psychology and mental health and therapies that are more spiritual and culturally sensitive than those offered by other providers. Who does it serve? Ihsaan caters for adults (18 plus) with mild to moderate mental health problems: Anxiety, depression, psychological trauma amongst others. Currently cannot provide a service for florid psychotic conditions, drug or alcohol addictions. Therapists: Ihsaan is consortium of qualified Muslim Psychological Therapists from a variety of professions, including Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, CBT Therapists and Counsellors.
