IID Architects

Initiatives in Design was established in 1984 as a partnership, becoming a limited company in 2007 trading as IID Architects. The practice is led by Directors Simon Tupper, Richard Matthews, Nick Rich, Gareth Box and David Brown. Our studio is located in Richmond upon Thames and we currently employ 15 people including architects, architectural assistants, product designers and administrators. Our concern has always been to provide a closely attentive and enthusiastic professional service to our clients and to design imaginative, innovative and well loved buildings. These qualities we believe have been valued throughout the practices life and have resulted in many long lasting working relationships.
