illuminAid equips and trains organizations in developing nations to produce and share low-cost video content in order to help educate and safeguard local communities facing our worlds most pressing challenges. Matt and Patrice York founded illuminAid in January of 2008, after more than 20 years in publishing and video production. To date, illuminAid has trained more than 600 NGO workers in 28 countries, partnering with some of the most experienced organizations in the world to incorporate video into their behavior-change communication (BCC) strategies, including the Center for Disease Control, Save the Children, Mercy Corps, the US State Department, and Catholic Relief Services.
