Amid clinical workforce shortages, rising healthcare costs and ongoing concerns about inequity, IMPaCT Cares mission is to advance health equity by unlocking the power of the grassroots community health workforce. Having proven the model and grown through guerrilla efforts to serve 50 client organizations across 20 states, were now ready to scale. We are a completely remote company, backed by leading healthcare investors, and advised by senior leaders from Amazon, Kaiser Permanente, and the University of Pennsylvania. IMPaCT is the leading evidence-based intervention in the U.S. for addressing health inequity and the social determinants of health. IMPaCTs standardized, scalable program selects altruistic people from local communities, trains them as CHWs and connects them with people who are facing health inequity.
