In Other Words Feminist Community Center

In Other Words is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run, feminist community center in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to inspire and cultivate feminist communities, nurturing social justice. We support education by making literature accessible to everyone, while promoting reading, learning, and critical thinking about radical ideas, we enrich our communities by supporting local artists, craftspeople, musicians, performers, and writers. We seek to empower our feminist communities by bringing community resources to life through new educational programming that will include classes, workshops, and discussion groups started in conjunction with partnering community organizations
