Independent Music Academy began as Brisbane Independent Music Academy in 1997. We were Brisbanes first music school to focus on adult education and also the Brisbanes first music school to formally teach Rock, Pop, Metal and Blues. Over the years we have taught thousands of adults and children including members of Dead Letter Circus, Powderfinger, The Butterfly Effect and Butterfingers.
