Indian Culinary Forum

The Indian Culinary Forum is the Indias association of Professional chefs. It was originally formed in New Delhi on 9th April1985. It was founded by Chef Saraswat on April 1985, under the banner Les Toque Blanche- Delhi Chapter. The need to rejuvenate the forum with an Indian name and identity was felt. As a result the existing body of Chefs forum was renamed as The Indian Culinary Forum (ICF). In 1987 the election was held and Chef Manjit Gill was elected as the President of newly formed ICF. I C F functions as an exclusive non-profit-making organization, Dedicated solely to the advancement of the culinary art of India. The Forums objective is to act as a link, platform, useful and necessary instrument for the national community of chefs. The World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS) is a 52-nation fellowship comprising the worlds various professional chefs organisations.
