Indian Trail Improvement District

The responsibilities of Indian Trail Improvement District include reclaiming the lands within its boundaries for water control and water supply purposes and protecting the land from the effects of water by means of the construction and maintenance of canals and other drainage works and improvements. The District is sanctioned to construct, improve and maintain roadways and roads necessary to provide access to and efficient development of certain areas. The District is also empowered to buy, develop, and maintain recreational areas. The District has the specific authority to provide utility services within its geographical boundaries. The District Board of Supervisors seeks to serve the needs of its residents for a safe, secure, and healthy environment, and facilitates planned and managed growth and economic development.
