Innovative Housing Development Corporation, a nonprofit corporation, began its operations in 1980 managing St. Clair Countys first group home for mentally ill adults. We currently manage fourteen homes for individuals with a mental illness or developmental disability. All homes are located in St. Clair County. As an organization we have a strong belief in self-determination and self-sufficiency. As a result, we have created, and currently manage, over 100 independent living apartment units.
