The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC) is one of the three research centers belonging to the National Microelectronics Center (CNM) created in 1985 by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and recognized as a Unit of Excellence Maria de Maeztu. Around 200 people, with researchers, technicians, administration and PhD fellows, are IMB-CNM staff.
