Institute for Medicinal Plants Research

The IMPR was founded in 1948., in compliance with the decision made by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, with a mission to study medicinal plants and develop science in this area. Today it is a respected institution and a leader in the field, with valuable scientific results and a range of plant-based products intended for protection and human health promotion. The IMPR conducts its activities through the following three major units: 1. Research & development 2. Production, marketing and sale 3. Quality control. THE IMPR SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES are conducted through two departments: Department for R&D in MAP Agriculture and Department for R&D in MAP Pharmacy.
