Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration (IGME)

IGME, authorized by the State to explore the natural earth resources, is the major geological research organization in Greece, based in Athens with 6 regional Departments. It is employing 200 personnel and regulated by the Ministry of Environment. It has co-ordinated and participated in several competitive and other European and National projects, and is providing the required Geological, Hydrogeological, Geochemical, Geophysical data.
