The Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB) is the leading national research institution in the area of molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry. IMB is a member of UNESCO Global Network for Molecular and Cell Biology since 1995. The mission of the Institute is: 1. To conduct internationally-competitive basic and applied studies in the area of molecular biology and related disciplines of cellular and structural biology, molecular genetics and bioorganic chemistry and their applications in medicine and pharmacy. 2. To prepare the next generation of scientists by offering high quality research training in its PhD programs.
