Finding a home for Sports Law in Brazil; that is why on June 05, 2001 a group of lawyers created the Brazilian Sports Law Institute (Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Desportivo - IBDD). Who we are. Our goal is Brazilian Sports Law development. We are a nonprofit organization that is apolitical and serves as an independent home to Sports Law in Brazil, without ties to a specific club or university. We promote sports law-related research & development initiatives, and nurture sports law-related academic activities. What we do. To get there, we house academic and professional initiatives. On our academic side we promote events, workshops, seminars and cultural activities as well as host a study group to further information exchange. We are proud to organize the Brazilian Sports Law Review (Revista Brasileira de Direito Desportivo RBDD).
