Since 1997, ICAF has served American children as their national arts organization that cultivates their creativity and grows mutual empathy among them and their peers worldwide through the universal language of art for a more prosperous and peaceful future. We organize the worlds largest school art program (the Arts Olympiad) to empower students to overcome the well-documented 4th-grade slump in childhood creativity. Every four years, we produce the World Childrens Festival (the Olympics of childrens imagination) at the National Mall across the U.S. Capitol.
