International Pandemic Preparedness Secretariat

The International Pandemic Preparedness Secretariat (IPPS) is an independent and time-limited entity that supports the delivery of the 100 Days Mission (100DM). The 100DM aims to prepare as much as possible so that within the first 100 days of a pandemic threat being identified, there is the availability of accurate and approved rapid diagnostic tests, an initial regimen of therapeutics, and vaccines ready to be produced at scale, that are safe, effective and affordable. The IPPS is hosted by the Wellcome Trust, and its activities include - Keeping pandemic preparedness high on the agenda; - Catalysing scientific exchange; - Facilitating multidisciplinary engagement; - Producing annual reports to support prioritisation efforts by partners. The Steering Group (SG) provides oversight and accountability for the IPPSs work.
