It is situated just a short drive from the Stone Town of Zanzibar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a notable example of a Swahili coastal trading town. ISZ is an NGO school with a strong commitment to transformational and authentic learning, aiming to extend its positive impact beyond the classroom walls. Despite its small size, currently at 200 students, ISZ boasts a diverse student body representing 39 different nationalities.
