The International Storytelling Center is a Tennessee not-for-profit corporation with offices in Jonesborough, Tennessee. The mission of the organization is to inspire and empower people everywhere to capture and tell their stories, listen to the stories of others and use storytelling to produce positive change. The International Storytelling Center believes promoting and sharing creative applications of storytelling can build a better world. The Center annually produces the National Storytelling Festival, the internationally acclaimed storytelling event that attracts 9,000 attendees from around the world.
