The Iowa State University Investment Group is a professional student organization that is designed to provide a unique experience to both the graduate and undergraduate student. We provide an outlet for students to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application. We are a student operated equity fund with over $220,000 AUM. With over 40 stocks spread across 6 sectors of the market, we work to diversify our non-systematic exposure. Using due diligence, we deploy a strategy of long-term value investing in order to purchase equities at a discount to capitalize on market conditions. Investment Group is divided into seven subsectors: Consumer, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrials, Macroeconomics, and Technology. We utilize a research-driven, fundamental value-investing approach in our portfolio.
