Iowa Veterans Home

The Iowa Veterans Home is a long term care facility owned and operated by the State of Iowa. Opened in 1887, the facility sits on 150 acres in Marshalltowns northwest corner. We provide medical and nursing services to Iowa Veterans, their spouses, and gold star parents. We are one of the largest Veterans Home in the nation with 560 beds comprised of residential and nursing (including memory) levels of care.
