Iran Electrical Industry Syndicate (IEIS), established in 2000, is a Business member organization, consisting of 450 members of manufacturers, contractors and consultant companies of electrical Industry, seeks to promote the position of Iranian electrical industry in the world. IEIS member companies employ some 80,000 and have a combined turnover of over USD 15 billion. IEIS capabilities are unmatched in the developing countries with some 95% of all the nations requirements being designed, engineered and manufactured locally including items such as gas and steam turbines, transmission towers, transformers, switchgears, high voltage cables and accessories, control and dispatching systems and more
