Iraq Institute for Strategic Studies

The Iraq Institute for Strategic Studies has been established to promote, conduct, and foster research and study relating to current political, economic, and social developments in Iraq. IIST is an effort by Iraqi academics committed to research, publication, and education, in the fields of transitional politics, human rights, secularism, and more generally, Iraq Studies. The Institute has published over 120 books and booklets on a wide-range of contemporary Iraqi issues (social and political sciences).
