IRK Films is founded by Imran Raza Kazmi in 2012 with his first production Siyaah released to critical acclaim and won the Best Screenplay Award in the 1st ARY Films Awards. The company went on to produce its next film, Janaan, which was about breaking cultural stereotypes. Janaan became a massive blockbuster internationally and in Pakistan with numerous awards to its credit. IRK Films thrives itself on launching talented new faces in the industry such as Ahmed Ali Akbar & Hareem Farooq in Siyaah, Hania Aamir & Bilal Ashraf in Janaan, Usman Mukhtar in Parchi among the 14 theatre actors chosen and the list goes on.
