History of Local 771 Our Local was chartered on April 27, 1956, by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Reinforcing and Ornamental Iron Workers. The Local 771 territorial jurisdiction includes All the Province of Saskatchewan including the Northwest Territories between longitude 102 degrees west and longitude 110 degrees west. Our Work Members of the Iron Workers, Local Union No. 771, perform some or all of the following job duties: Erect and weld structural steel framework for bridges, dams, towers, industrial plants, hospitals, schools, and shopping centers.
