ISDEMIR, Turkeys third largest integrated iron and steel factory in terms of date of establishment and the largest in terms of long products became Turkeys first integrated long and flat producer after commissioning of 3.5 million tons/year Hot Strip Mill plant in 2008. ISDEMIR was established in October 3, 1970, at the South Mediterranean coast of Turkey, 17 km to Iskenderun in the Payas (Yakack ) region. At the date of establishment is based on totally 16.75 millions m2 area together with the social facilities (Factory area 6.8 millions m2)
