Island Ice & Beverage Co. Ltd

Island Ice & Beverage Company Limited was formed in 2008. The company was created to facilitate the merger of two of Jamaicas leading manufacturing concerns. The Kingston Ice Making Company Limited (Kingston Ice) was one of the oldest companies in the history of Jamaica. Records indicate that the company was originally founded in 1884. The company eventually became public but delisted in the late 1990s. Kingston Ice was the main producer of block ice in Jamaica. Happy Ice Limited was a truly entrepreneurial venture that was founded in the early 1980s. At the time, the packaged ice industry was in its days of infancy. Over the years, the company grew as the local market began to appreciate the benefits of packaged ice and now the brand Happy Ice is one of the most recognizable in the country. Since its inception, Island Ice and Beverage Company Limited has remained true to its goal of providing high quality products and customer service to the Caribbean market
