History of our Surgeries The Isle Veterinary Group Ltd was originally established as the Aldreth Veterinary Centre in 1990. From these beginnings, the Isle Veterinary Group has grown into a practice dedicated to providing caring treatment for both large and small animals in the area. Originally there were three sites The main Small Animal surgery at Aldreth was first to open followed in May 2000 by a further Small Animal surgery at Littleport called Bankside. January 2000 saw the Large Animal & Equine branch open at Wardy Hill. Aldreth and Bankside grew considerably over the years and had become too small for the amount of animals we were treating. In October 2006 we decided to amalgamate the two surgeries into one providing care at a purpose built facility you see today here in Ely. In September 2009 the Large Animal and Equine centre moved into their purpose built surgery next door to Small Animal so we are now situated on one site
