ITU Geological Engineering Club

ITU Geological Engineering Club was established in 1994 within the Faculty of Mining in order to introduce Geological Engineering, to popularize geology and to reach large masses. In 2003, it joined the Culture and Art Union. Through the Geological Engineering Club, students are able to communicate more easily with their lecturers and deans. With the trips and seminars organized, it is aimed for the students of the department to dialogue with each other and to apply the learned theoretical knowledge by the students in practice. To provide student communication with the Chamber of Geological Engineers; providing internship opportunities to students by contacting geology firms; sharing lecture notes, books and information; organizing social and cultural trips; organizing professional panels and career days, ceramics and guitar courses are among the activities of the club.
