Built in 1923 by Harold and Nina Nixon Bowman, Jacob Lake Inn is the Gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Nestled in the towering pines of the Kaibab National Forest and a scenic 44 mile drive from the canyon rim, we offer complete facilities for the traveler to Grand Canyons North Rim. However, we are centrally located for trips to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Navajo and Hopi Reservations, the Vermillion Cliffs, and Lake Powell, making Jacob Lake Inn the perfect base camp for anyone wishing to tour the beautiful sights of the Southwest.
