Jacomo Parfums has been created in the late 60s by a Music and Design lover from France. In the 80s the successfull start up Jacomo has been acquired by a multinational group, Cognac Martel which has decided to create its own perfume company in Deauville, France. The factory, Jacomo Production, is still running and is one of the major perfume manufacturer in France. In 1995, Jacomo has been acquired by a french cosmetic group, Laboratoires Sarbec.
