Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN)

Jakarta Animal Aid Network is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in Indonesia. Their mission is to stop the mistreatment of domesticated animals, as well as to end the trafficking and decline of endangered species. JAAN operates programs that sterilize stray cats and stray dogs, rehome abused or neglected pets, rescue exotic pets, and train carriage horse operators about proper care. They also provide rescue and rehabilitation services to endangered indigenous species such as the Brahminy Kite, sea turtles, dolphins, and various primates, at centers throughout Indonesia.
