JC Navalips is the Global Leader in manufacturing the highest quality requirement Ni-Al Bronze products, with close to 50 years of successful history. Originally founded in 1974 as a joint venture between LIPS (NL) and AESA (Spain), we started our journey as Navalips, specializing in the production of propellers for the maritime industry. On top of our marine propulsion expertise, we have long track record in energy sector components, from hydro power impellers to oil&gas bronze components. In 2003, Wartsila acquired 50% ownership of LIPS, thereby becoming the majority stakeholder in Navalips. Two years later, in 2005, Wartsila purchased the remaining 50% shares, making Navalips a wholly owned subsidiary of Wartsila. In 2008, our manufacturing facility in Cantabria underwent a significant expansion, doubling its production capacity.
