Jeev Aashraya

Jeev Aashraya started with a small group of friends and animal lovers who were compassionate to the animals struggling on the streets of Lucknow. After several years in helping animals at their own individual levels and distressed by the lack of facilities for rescue and help for stray animals, they decided to work in an organized manner which gave birth to Jeev Aashraya in November 2012. Originally founded by Mr. Yatendra Trivedi, Mr. Amit Sehgal, Dr. Manish Tewari, Ms. Harshita Deo, and Mr. Chayan Trivedi the family of Jeev Aashraya has been increasing since then. Today, more than a lakh of people are joined to the organization through either social media, volunteering or other activities of the NGO. The aim of Jeev Aashraya is- Provide prompt assistance in handling animal-related emergencies.
