Jewish Relief Agency

The Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) mobilizes a network of over 12,000 volunteers to assist families coping with food insecurity. Founded in 2,000 to provide support for struggling Jewish families, the agency has grown to serve over 3,600 diverse low-income households throughout the Greater Philadelphia region each month. JRA serves some of the most vulnerable individuals in our region: seniors, persons with disabilities, individuals with chronic illnesses, immigrants, refugees, non-English language speakers, and people facing temporary financial emergencies. JRAs work is fueled by our volunteers of many ages and backgrounds - from students to seniors, Jews and non-Jews, all united by a common commitment to help those in need and strengthen our community.
