The Johannesburg Parent and Child Counselling Centre was established in 1944 as the Johannesburg Child Guidance Clinic to provide counselling and guidance for parents and children with emotional and developmental needs. For the past sixty-four years the service has gone from strength to strength, and now operates under the name of the Johannesburg Parent and Child Counselling Centre.
