Jordan Aviation (JAV)

JORDAN AVIATION was founded in 1998 as a privately owned Jordanian Airline headquartered in Amman, by the ambitious and determined entrepreneur, Captain Mohammed Al-Khashman. Captain Khashmans vision was realized in October 2000 when JAV (as it was known then) obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and commenced operation in October 2000. This vision was developed further when JAV became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO). Between the years 2001 and 2003 JAV concentrated its activities on charter contracts with the U.N. Peace Keepers troops and became and continues to be an accredited vendor. The United Nations acknowledged JAVs efforts by granting it several awards and recognition letters.
