Joules Power Limited is a pioneer as Bangladeshs Independent Power Producers (IPP) for Solar Energy; the companys subsidiary Technaf Solartech Energy Limited (TSEL) with a capacity of 28MWp is the first Solar IPP in the country achieving commercial operation in 2018. TSEL has received international recognition by being awarded The Best Transaction Bangladesh by Finance Asia in 2018 for its very innovative and ground breaking structure; Asian Power Award 2018 in the category Solar Power Project of the Year Bangladesh.
