Journey Homes mission is to ensure a home for all. We believe the most powerful way to do this is collectively - by working together with service providers, elected officials, businesses, and local communities to end homelessness in the Capital region of Connecticut. We will build partnerships, advance innovative solutions, and achieve enduring, systemic change. As part of the national mayors Ten Year Plan movement, the City of Hartford convened the Commission to End Homelessness in the Capital Region in June 2004. One year later, the Ten-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness was completed. With input from more than 150 stakeholders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, the implementation plan for the Ten-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness was finalized in October 2007.
