JT Roselle Lighting was founded in 1986 by (CEO) Jim Roselle and his father working out of their home on Long Island. Within 3 years they became recognized and established throughout the entire New York City Metropolitan area. Their company pioneered the strategy of working with General Contractors on major interior lighting projects in the city. As they perfected their approach into an artform, they became New York Citys largest lighting supplier, whose success their competitors were quick to emulate. The company enjoyed market dominance in NYC from 1991 through 2001, when Jim joined forces with Joseph Mastromonaco and Richard Corbin to form sister company, JDC Power Systems, currently one of the largest suppliers of data center power equipment in the United States.
