Judson College - Marion, AL

Founded in 1838, Judson College was one of the oldest womens colleges in the United States. Judson College was an independent arts and sciences college affiliated with the Alabama Baptist Convention until its closure in 2021. The college offers bachelors degrees in over 40 courses of study, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and various pre-professional programs, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, law and engineering. Judson Colleges facilities include a welcoming library, laboratories, classroom buildings, residence halls, an athletic park, a 30-stall equine science center with a covered riding arena, and a clubhouse for social activities. The college participates in a variety of extracurricular activities, including NCCAA soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, plus intramural field hockey, basketball, and volleyball.
