Just Checking is a specialist social care-focused tech company that uses state-of-the-art technology to enhance the quality of support provided by our health and social care clients. Our Just Checking system helps practitioners understand the needs and abilities of individuals with dementia, learning difficulties and other disabilities by using in-depth evidence and insights. The system consists of discreet, wireless movement sensors which are placed around the property of those receiving care for 2-6 weeks. Using these movement sensors, Just Checking creates a chart of activity which can be used to see which rooms have been visited, when, and for how long, as well as which doors are being opened, and which utilities - such as kettles, taps or the toilet - are being used.
