Kaissa Games SA

Kaissa Games SA was founded in 1985 by a group of chess players, initially as a chess shop. But soon it expanded its activities in other, innovative at that time, gaming categories like Strategy & Fantasy Board Games, Role Playing Games and Miniature Wargames. In 1993, with the appearance of Magic the Gathering and essentially the birth of the Trading Card Games, Kaissa Games SA begins the distribution of its products to Hobby stores. In 2000, with the release of the Pokemon TCG, the company is expanding its distribution to Mass Market shops, since this game is very popular to the general public. A year later, in 2001, the first Kaissa board games are translated into Greek. Their success pushes the company to translate more games, reaching the current rate of about 25 new titles per year.
