In order to be part of the growing consumption of the beer business and also to be a full-spectrum alcoholic beverage company in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, KALS set up a brewery in 2011. The plant is located at Kunnathur Village in Illupur taluk of Pudukkottai district, in a 34.59 acre plot and started commercial production in 2012.
