KANGEMI RESOURCE CENTRE

The kangemi Resource Centre (KRC)was established in the year 2008 to support primary non-state schools and teachers ,to improve childrens schooling conditions and empower the local community. The KRC has become a hub supporting those living in kangemi, an informal settlement, with essential services and reaching out to 15,000 needy school going children,6000 non state school teachers and the kangemi community. At KRC we offer; Library and TV room to enhance access to Kenyan curriculum text books, a computer training Centre for everyone in the community to attain computer literacy certification. A daily nutrition program for school going children visiting KRC. We also have teachers development programs, where non state teachers are trained on basic classroom techniques, teaching and learning activities.
